Bollywood's best monologues

A monologue is one of the most difficult parts of acting. It requires memorizing the entire dialogue & delivering it correctly in one go. It is not everyone’s cup of tea. One little mistake or wrong expression  the entire effort goes down the drain and you have to do it again!

Here are a few monologues that definitely deserve a standing ovation

SRK in Chak De! Kabir Khan’s speech in Chak De! India is inspirational to another level. The impact of the movie and his monologues stays with you for a long time. The monologues makes you wanna watch the movie again & again. The monologue of '70 minutes' leaves everyone speechless.

Kartik Aaryan in PKP has given a fabulous performance. The new chocolate boy has given a benchmark to all the veterans in the industry. His five minute long rant in Pyaar Ka Punchnama & about seven minutes long rant in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 made every single guy out there nod & applaud.   Kartik Aryan has earned umpteenth accolades for his performance in Pyaar Ka Punchnama.

Naseeruddin Shah in Wednesday gives a revolutionary speech, the serious monologue gives audiences goosebumps & makes you want to stand  and applaud! It patronizes the audience & brings out the hidden Indian in you.

Shahid Kapoor in Haider rants about the poor and corrupt administration. Shahid has performed with a lot of intensity and power and is one of his best performances of all times. Shahid also used a new word 'chutzpah' about which he talks about in the monologue.

Nawazuddin Sidique in New York does everything with excellence. Anything & everything he does is just brilliant. His monologue is one of the most poignant performances happened in film. He delivers a 2 minute monologue about how he was tortured by the police for being a terrorist suspect.
